Stefan G. Bucher, author and duke/illustrator of all things monster, can be seen doodling creatures on his blog (344design.typepad.com). I’ve been toying with the idea of posting illustrations myself; and Mr. Bucher has, inadvertently and unknowingly, challenged this idea. At the same time, I don’t dare compare myself to his expertise and craftsmanship. Being a humble student of higher-education, with B- accomplishments in the areas of illustration and figure drawing, I simply strive to be semi-respected among the art sect. And, simultaneously, avoiding a “style” as long as possible. Experimentation should always be open.
